Joshua Dhube School

Joshua Dhube School is in Dangamvura, just outside Mutare, in Zimbabwe. For over 20 years, the government had not built schools. This community had no school and children as young as 5 years old had to walk long distances to school. The Baptist Church of Zimbabwe bought the land and began building. After an initial build, they partnered with Mission Direct. Volunteers from the UK raise money for the build and go to work on site. Today there is a complete Primary school up to Grade 7. The work continues for a perimeter fence, a permanent playground and resources for the school.
